ANS: Pull over to the side of the road and wait until the “All Clear” is sounded
2. Following a fire emergency how will you know that is OK to get back in your vehicle
and continue driving?
ANS: You will hear the “All Clear” or a 10 second blast over the fire alarm horns.
3. If you are driving a vehicle and the vapor cloud alarm sounds what are you supposed
to do?
ANS: Pull over to the side of the road, turn off the engine, unlock the car and leave the keys in the car. Move cross wind and upwind from the vapor cloud.
4. If you hear a distinctive alternating tone alarm, what type of emergency will this be?
ANS: Fire
5. If you hear a continuous alarm, what kind of emergency will this be?
ANS: Vapor Cloud
6. If there is a site emergency what radio channel would you cease to use until the emergency “All Clear” has been sounded?
