Welcome to Pinnacle Services


In 2002, Pinnacle Services, LLC began to provide a comprehensive set of services to the Hovensa refinery and its sub-contractors under a shared services delivery model which utilizes the simple concept of centralizing commonly used, non-core services and providing them from a third party. Pinnacle started with medical testing, first aid and emergency response services along with logistics services which include travel reservations, hotel and accommodations, rental vehicles and shuttle services for craft employees, plant entry verifications and employee badging services.

Since 2003, Pinnacle has continued to develop its set of workforce services and expanded its customer base to include customers throughout the Virgin Islands.

Timeline of Pinnacle Services Growth:

  • 2002 - Accredited as an NCCER Training Sponsor and Assessment Center and began administering the St. Croix Career Technical and Education Center's craft training program for young adults. The program is sponsored by the Virgin Islands Dept. of Education and HOVENSA, LLC. Started providing logistics and medical testing and first aid services. Started Pinnacle staffing services offering recruitment, screening and placement services of temporary, temp-to-hire and direct hire employees
  • 2003 - started delivering OSHA compliance Right-to-Know training
  • 2007 - Partnered with the Houston Area Safety Council to bring Basic Orientation Plus to St. Croix and distribute HOVENSA Site specific courses to 33 safety councils across the country. Installed a computer training lab with 30 machines
  • 2008 - Master Equipment Instructor and Inspector, Bob Cook joined Pinnacle and we started offering Equipment Training courses
  • 2009 - Started delivering Process Safety Management procedures for contractor craft via computer based training
  • 2009 - Partnered with the Virgin Islands Department of Labor to deliver NCCER craft training to under-employed island residents
  • 2009 - Rolled out Compliance tracking tools to help track training compliance by course and company
  • 2009 - Expanded the computer training lab from 30 to 50 machines
  • 2010 - We now have a training catalog of 273 courses, procedures and assessments
  • 2010 - Developed three new training provider partnerships: National Safety Council, Training Today and eSkills to bring Defensive Driving, Sexual Harassment training and Supervisor Employment Law courses to the Virgin Islands
